Zuckerberg is going to advise the world’s third-largest cryptocurrency exchange by market capitalization.
We all know Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Facebook, but what about his sister? Now, when it’s well known that social media’s founder is interested in blockchain technology, it’s no surprise that his sister is following the same steps.
Randi Zuckerberg, Mark’s sister, was excited to announce that she will join the world’s third largest cryptocurrency trading platform, Huobi. It seems that Randi moves with faster and more visible steps than his brother.
With a rich experience at Facebook, Randi will certainly bring a major addition to the new company, complimenting the crypto market. Bearing in mind this, Randi is set to become the Huobi Chain Expert Advisory Committee.
As reported by Global Crypto Express, Huobi claimed:
“As a member of the Huobi Chain Expert Advisory Committee, Zuckerberg will assist in the development of Huobi’s public blockchain and will further lend her expertise to the governance of Huobi Chain itself. The Huobi Chain Advisory Committee will provide comprehensive professional advice and insights on the underlying technology, industry application, business model construction and other dimensions of the blockchain. They will also offer advice and support during the election of the Huobi Chain Leader Championship.”
In the technology sector, the Zuckerbergs as described by Facebook founder, are well-known personalities, meaning there are strong motivations behind the latest appointment. Randi Zuckerberg has pledged to provide Huobi with a vast portfolio of knowledge. Still, the crypto community (and not only) ask if there will continue to be a relationship between Randi and Facebook.
As previously reported by news portals, Facebook has long ago shown its interest in blockchain technology and is currently exploring this space, so, here’s where a new question appears: Is Huobi the perfect company to help the social media giant go through?
