Trading Results Overview June 22

9 min read

Dear Traders,

In today’s article we will explain the performance of all our methods during June 2022. How did our systems behave since our changes were announced in May?

For those that missed our announcement last month, the composition of the Zeus EA PAMM has been changed: we have removed the grid system and are now trading a mixture of different systems, pairs, and time frames.

We also added a new PAMM, called Chris’ Mix which offers different EAs than Zeus EA new. And last but not least, Athena EA is the only grid approach remaining at the moment.

Summary of All Systems in June 2022

Here is a summary of all our main systems and methods:

System Performance Total running performance
Zeus NEW (PAMM) +8.0% +16.9%
Athena EA (PAMM) +5.7% +32.0%
Athena EA Rental (min 4k) +5.2% +135.1%
Chris Mix (PAMM) -17.2% -9.0%
Portfolio ECS (PAMM) -8.6% -15.7%
SWAT EA +22.7% +89.7%
Options +1.1% +16.9%
(from 04.2021)

Athena EA

Athena EA is showing yet another stable and consistent performance in the 2nd quarter of 2022. The PAMM gained more than +22% of gains in that entire quarter with +5.7% in the month of June.

So far, we did not have a single losing month with this EA, which is a strong sign of it’s long-term success, despite it being a grid method.

Total performance Athena EA  +5.2%
Total performance Athena EA – all time +135.1%

Zeus EA NEW

The Zeus EA change from a grid system to a non-grid approach has been very positive. June saw a gain of +8% take the total to almost +17% in profits. This is an excellent start after just two months of trading.

Performance Zeus EA +8.0%
Total performance +16.9%

Chris Mix

The newest PAMM is a hand chosen mixture of EAs that Chris Svorcik has been trading in 2022. The best EAs were combined into a new PAMM account called Chris’ Mix.

Chris’ Mix ran into some trouble with the grid method that was added to the mixture of EAs. Due to the sudden loss, the composition of EAs has been changed. Now, only systems that are not martingale nor grid are trading in this PAMM.

Performance  -17.2%
Total performance -9.0%

Portfolio Method

ECS Portfolio unfortunately had back-to-back losing months. The method is struggling to gain a foothold in the current market conditions.

Performance ECS Portfolio -8.6%
Total performance -15.7%

Options Trading

New lows. Last month ended with the question of whether the bottom could be the definitive one of this bearish phase. This was not the case.

June saw a new lower low and the month closed with a weak market. This is leaving open the possibility that the market can make a further decline in the first half of July.

The lows touched by the market were not accompanied by a sentiment of fear highlighted by surges of VIX, which normally occurs on the final lows of the period.

On the other hand, the economic and geopolitical front saw no improvement and now the spotlight is on the next appointment of July 13 when June’s inflation rate will be released. Caution is still required for the next octaves.

Our strategy also in this month has seen few opportunities with our underlying that have not had, in general, the amplitude of movement necessary for our trade setups. Two didactic signals, VALE and BMY, one long and one short, were selected. The first closed with a positive result of 21%, the second is still on the market and is in the profit area of over 40%, we will see how the setup will close.
